The Temptation
Vincent Mitzev's installations and scuptural works are distinguished by their marked sense of the available which often takes on a new meaning by surprisingly simple interventions. For example, he distorts the perspective of a room with all its fixtures, thus irritating familiar perception. Former meaning and function changes its practical value to an aesthetic one which stimulates new approaches. Often, in their paradox interplay, also the materials Vincent Mitzev uses develop new contents, in a narrative-poetical as well as in a funny, ironical manner.
